My goal is to foster an environment of acceptance and respect for clients, to reach a greater understanding of their difficulties, relief from current suffering through empowered awareness strategies, and a new perspective that creates the positive changes necessary for a joyful, satisfying, and purposeful life. My approach to group, as well as individual, therapy is to establish safety, connection, and trust and empower self-exploration and efficacy on the journey to recovery and wholeness. I speak Spanish as well as Portuguese and strive to create a welcoming healing space for all to thrive.
I am an NLC Psychotherapist in the State of Colorado and a CO DVOMB Associate Level Candidate. Additionally, I am a trained Peer Recovery Coach (CCART), Certified Addiction Specialist Candidate, and Certified Clinician of Community Reinforcement and Family Training method (CRAFT). I enjoy supporting those navigating substance use and IPV recovery.
